I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Ecosystems Lab at the University of Oxford and Research Fellow at Wolfson College. My research program spans across multiple spatial scales (leaves, trees, forests, ecosystems) where I use my background in plant ecophysiology and ecology to answer large-scale questions related to macrosystems biology and plant form and function. Currently, my main interest is to develop a mechanistic understanding of the relationship between community assembly and ecosystem function in tropical forests across the world through functional trait scaling frameworks.
